We are a newly formed engineering services provider based in the UK with new offices being formed in Dubai and the USA. We require a dynamic Technical Sales Director with the drive and ambition to enable the company to achieve its future growth strategy.

The Position:
Technical Sales Director reporting into South Wales Office management team

Requirements:
- Degree or vocational qualification in engineering
- Relevant technical sales experience
- Broad engineering knowledge
- Must have worked in a similar position previously
- Understand that travelling extensively across the UK selling our services is expected.
- A can-do approach/attitude/ and a self-starter
- Willingness to support customers which can sometimes mean working out of hours
- Must be able to work well in a team
- Must enjoy customer interface and frequent face to face meetings
- Must be familiar with basic technical and commercial tender documents
- Must also be able to report enquires and leads effectively
- Must be familiar in the preparation and presentation of sales reports
- Full clean driving license is essential
- Previous experience and contacts in the Power, Waste to Energy and or Heavy Engineering sectors essential.
Responsibilities:
- To deliver a sales budget
- Enhance companies’ reputation expertise and technical offerings
- To be fully aware of market conditions and pricings and advise the management of the same to maximize the percentage chance of winning tenders
- Issue sales reports to the directors
The Location:
Powertech Solutions ltd is based in South Wales UK.
This is a great place to live because it has beautiful views of the coast line ,great schools and great facilities for doctors/dentists, it is also close to the M4 with good links to public transport. Although it is envisaged frequent travel is essential.
